About Bryngwyn School
By Jac Morris and James Jones
Bryngwyn is a comprehensive school with 850 pupils aged 11 to 16. Our academic results are always high, and I think the school provides the best possible education for all of the pupils. Bryngwyn is well known throughout the area in my opinion, and the school wants to equip all us with the skills and qualities necessary to take us forward in life. Our school is a happy school and the pupils enjoy themselves as they learn.
Bryngwyn School is situated between the villages of Dafen and Felinfoel, about two miles from the centre of Llanelli. It is one of five Comprehensive Schools in the Llanelli Area.
There are about 60 teachers in our school.
Our Head teacher is called Mr P. Jones.
Bryngwyn School was opened in 1977.
