Pupils Enjoy Their 'Medieval Day' at Cardiff Castle!

On Friday 21st June, the History Department organised an educational visit to ‘Joust!’ at Cardiff Castle. The visit gave pupils a chance to see and experience life at the Castle in medieval times. Before the main jousting tournament, pupils were able to see how a squire helped dress his master in a harness of armour, followed by a spectacular combat display. There was also a medieval encampment to explore, storytelling and juggling displays. Pupils were impeccably behaved and were a credit to the school. A great day was had by pupils and staff.
