After-School Cross Country Club Grows in Popularity!

Friday 11 January saw the biggest turnout ever for the Cross Country Club with an amazing total of 41 pupils participating.  The group make their way from school every Friday up to Swiss Valley Reservoir where they are then timed individually around an off-road circuit around the reservoir (approx. 1 3/4 miles).  Most pupils complete 1 lap, but there are a select few who choose to complete 2 laps!  The group then returns to school by approximately 4.30pm.  Lap times for all participants are posted on the P.E. notice board giving pupils an incentive to try to better their own time the following week.
