They had different roles each presenting one aspect of their product to a panel of judges.

The judges have already been in to other schools and commented on the level of enthusiasm and standard of all of the teams in Bryngwyn.

The judges said that all teams had strengths and would have warranted a place in the final but one team stood out.

The winner of this stage were Alice B, Poppie W, Lauren S, Amara D, Neona W and Ella W.

The winning team will go on to represent the school in a final in Parc y Scarlets in February

They will continue to develop their product design to compete against other schools.

Winners of the overall competition stand to win individual Amazon prize vouchers and have the opportunity to manuafcture their product at Castell Howell Foods Ltd.
