Duke Of Edinburgh Expedition - South Gower
Pupils taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme have just spent a tiring but very rewarding weekend on the Gower Peninsula. The Award Scheme aims to develop confidence, independence, communication skills and problem solving skills. The group of pupils were divided into teams of between 4 and 7 and walked a total of 15 miles over the two days carrying all the equipment they needed. This year's expedition was again blessed with excellent weather which added to the overall enjoyment of the weekend by staff and pupils.
