Olympic Cyclist Nicole Cooke Visits Bryngwyn!

As part of Colin Jackson's 'Red Shoes Academy', we were proud to welcome Olympic Gold Medallist Nicole Cooke to Bryngwyn today.  Nicole gave an inspirational talk to girls from all year groups about her career in road cycling and the hurdles she has overcome to reach the top in her sport. She then went on to work with our Sports Leaders in individual groups.  Many pupils commented how pleased they were to have the opportunity to meet such a high-profile sportswoman.
