Three Bryngwyn pupils were representing their school ably earlier this week in the annual 'Youth Speaks' competition held by the Rotary Club of Llanelli.

Jessica Murphy, Isabel Barrah and Natalia Rychlicka were debating whether or not to bring back the death penalty. It is performance that the girls have been working on for three months with the English department. In a hotly competitive night, it was difficult to choose a side on this aspect of our criminal justice system. Both Jess and Natalia were incredibly persuasive, using a wealth of evidence to support their points. It is lucky we had Isabel to act as chairperson!
