School Closure Remainder of this week
We would like to update you further in relation to the damage caused to the school roof in yesterday’s storm.
Due to the continued high winds today it has not yet been possible to carry out a full assessment of the damage, however this is being treated as a priority by Carmarthenshire County Council.
I am sure you will appreciate that we have to ensure the school site is safe for all, therefore we have taken the decision to close the school site for the remainder of the week to allow further assessments to take place. Pupils will be able to access lessons and work through Google Classroom during their timetabled lesson times on Thursday and Friday.
We will continue to communicate further information as soon as we are able. We would kindly ask you to monitor the official school website or social media for updates as well as the Parent app for those who are subscribed.
The Governing Body would like to thank all of the emergency services and Carmarthenshire County Council for their fast and effective support in ensuring the safety of our pupils, staff and the local community.
If you have any queries please do not hesitate to get in touch via enq@bryngwyn.cymru or call 01554 750661. Alternatively for any queries on online learning, pupils are able to contact their teachers directly through Google Classroom.
