Year 11 Leavers Day 12.6.26

Dear Parents/Guardians,

As we approach the end of your child's journey with us, we would like to share the arrangements for our Year 11 students' final day on Friday 12th June.

This will be a special opportunity for students to come together, celebrate their time at school, and say their farewells before moving on to the next stage of their education and future aspirations.

Many of our students will already be on site sitting their Chemistry exam but for those with no scheduled exam the arrangements are as follows:

At 10.45 am pupils are expected to arrive in full school uniform, unfortunately any pupils who arrive in their own clothes will not be able to partake in the leavers event.
Pupils must use the gated entrance nearest the bike shed where they will be signed in by a member of staff.
Once signed in pupils must then make their way into the drama hall.

The timetable for the day is as follows:

10:50am – 11:10am: Staff will be making their way to the drama hall to sign shirts and say their farewells
11:10am – 11.45am: Opportunity for Pupil shirt signing / final pictures with peers.
12:00pm - Year 11 Assembly including leavers video
12:30pm – Whole Year Group Photograph (outside, weather permitting) before pupils leave site for the final time.

Students will then leave the school site by 12.45pm

*Please remember that this remains a normal school day for all other students with lessons continuing throughout the day*

As a school, we are incredibly proud of everything our Year 11 students have achieved during their time with us. They have made a valued contribution to our school community, and it has been a privilege to watch them grow and develop into the young people they are today.

We would like to thank you for your continued support throughout your child's school journey and wish all of our Year 11 students every success and happiness for their future.
