Year 9 Information for 26.6.25
Annwyl Riant / Warchweidwad,
As pupils embark on their Welsh GCSE work this term, the Welsh department at Ysgol Bryngwyn is holding a Iaith ar Waith event for year nine pupils in order to raise awareness of the use of Welsh in the community and in the workplace. We invite companies and organizations to the school to provide information for pupils about opportunities to use their Welsh in the workplace and in the community. This year’s event will be held on Thursday, 26th June in the school sports hall.
Pupils will have approximately 45 minutes to speak to our visitors, participating in games and interactive activities and learning as much as possible about the opportunities available to them.
Amongst the organisations taking part this year, there will be:
Coleg Sir Gar
Yr Heddlu
Menter Iaith
Yr Urdd
Profi
Lloyd and Gravell
Prifysgol Abertawe
UWTSD
Education Workforce
Scarlets
Hywel Dda Health Board
Pupils will be required to wear full school uniform and bring a pen.
We hope that your son/daughter benefits from the activities on offer during the event. Many thanks to everyone for their efforts prior to and during the event.
