A group of year 9 pupils visited the chemistry department at Swansea university. During the visit they got to experience modern equipment learning laboratory techniques. The pupils visited three workshops: 1 - Wet lab where pupils made aspirin, 2 - Pupils investigated the pH of medicines using a pH probe, plus neutralisation with data logging equipment. 3 - Computer lab where pupils researched the history of medicines to answer a quiz.
